Our center in Malcesine is blessed with reliable and constant thermal winds, providing ideal sailing conditions from dawn till dusk.
We offer specialized courses in Soling keelboats, Laser/ILCA dinghies, Bénéteau cabin cruisers, and Asso99 regatta yachts.
Sailing Lessons and Courses for all levels
We teach everyone from complete beginners to advanced sailors. Our focus is purely hands-on — the best way to learn safe sailing is out on the water!
If you are new to the sport, we recommend to take on the five-day Basic Course, if your goal is to sail mostly independently and to build profund knowledge in the sport.
The "One Instructor, One Boat" model
We don't believe in coaching from a distance with radio headsets. Our instructors are right there on the sailing boat with you – One Instructor, One Boat!
By having an expert on the boat right next to you, every tiller movement and sail adjustment is analyzed in real-time and your questions are answered immediately. This immediate feedback loop corrects mistakes the moment they happen, resulting in learning speeds up to 3x faster than other schools teaching methods.
What is included
- The ideal boat from our Sailboat Fleet featuring more than five different boat types and shapes
- Lifejacket, trapeze, wetsuit and shoes (depending on boat class)
- Lessons are held in german, italian or english, in small groups by certified and experienced instructors. You will learn theory on land and practice in the water!
- Boat-, sail- and equipment insurance
- Parking and access to our private beach is free for our clients!
- Rescue service operated by motorboat for assistance on the water
What is NOT included
- Travel/medical insurance
- Optional: After completing the 5-day basic course, you can obtain the "VDWS Sailing Basic Licence". This internationally recognised certificate confirms your sailing skills and allows you to rent boats at sailing centres worldwide.

- Swimwear/bikini, hat, sweatshirt, sunglasses and slip-resistant shoes (no black sole)
- Waterproof sunscreen for your body and face

BASIC | LEARN TO SAIL A BOAT INDEPENDENTLY
In this course you will learn everything you need to be abel to handle a sailing boat mostly independently and bring it safely back to the buoy. This includes theoretical- and practical instruction, area information, course directions, rigging, maneuvers, arrival- and departure, knowledge of different boat types and knots.
After 5 course days, you can earn the "VDWS Sailing Basic Licence". This internationally recognised certificate confirms your sailing skills and allows you to rent boats at sailing centres worldwide.

ADVANCE | GAIN CONFIDENCE, GET BETTER
Have you sailed before and now want to get your skills back on track? The progress course is ideal for refreshing and repeating for intermediate sailors and as a follow-up course after the BASIC course.
In this course more profund theoretical- and practical knowledge is conveyed and techniques for arrival- and departure, rigging and maneuvers are developed further. Moreover, we customize the content of the course to meet your personal needs.
Level: IntermediateRequirements: knowledge of the theoretical and practical basics of sailing

Duration: choose from 1-3 days, a lesson is 2,5 hours

EXPERT | EXPLORE NEW DIMENSIONS
You want to experience more action, higher speed, more complex trimming options and new maneuvers with the spinnaker or gennaker?
Our EXPERT course is aimed at advanced sailors who want to learn regatta techniques or how sail with the spinnaker (prepare and rig the boat, hoist, gybe and recover the spinnaker). Gain the knowledge and understanding to sail the best possible course and the best trim. Learn how to use your crew as good teamwork is fundamental for success.
Level: ExpertRequirements: confident sailor, good understanding of all sailing aspects (wind- and course directions, maneuvers, knots)

PRIVATE | INTENSIVE COACHING
Make the most out of your time and take your sailing to the next level with our private sailing lessons. Whether you are just getting started with sailing or you are working on your gennaker technique, our private course is the best option if you want to boost your skills fast.
The course content is adjusted by your personal trainer based on your level, the boat class and expectations! The possibilities are endless; tell us what you want to learn and we will show you how to do it!

VDWS RECOGNIZED TRAINING CENTER
WWWind Square is a certified watersport center!
We are a proud to be a member of the world’s largest water sports school association; the VDWS International.
We do our best to manage our center and instructors following the standards outlined by the VDWS. This includes also our safety measurements and rescue services, teaching material, facility management, etc...
You can obtain your VDWS license for windsurf, wingfoil, kitesurf, sailing and catamaran directly in our center at WWWind Square. With this internationally recognized license you can easily proof your skill to other watersports centers around the world, making it simpler and more convenient to rent gear.
