With the basic course you'll start learning the basic techniques and theory of sailing, which will be mastered in the following courses. Wwwind Square suggests: Basic Course You enter the world of sailing with ease and simplicity. The subjects discussed include: nomenclature, various manoeuvres techniques, safety in the water, mooring manouevres and metereology. Advanced Course The basic techniques are thoroughly practiced in order to obtain maximum confidence and autonomy, even with strong wind. Practical lessons take up most of the course, on request it is possible to have pre-cruise lessons. Cruise Course The aim of this course is to learn to handle a yacht in coastal navigation, either by sail or by engine. You will study all the basic techniques, harbour manoeuvres and introduction to chart reading. Looking at the price list you'll notice that the following course after the first has a reduced price, in order facilitate you in proceeding your sailing. The number of students is limited and the instructor is always with you. All our courses are divided in 2 levels of 9 hours each. Regatta Course Indicated for those who have a good sailing experience. In this course not only the theory of racing but also the possibility to take part in the main Regattas of the lake on board the monotype Asso 99, or in autumn and winter in Greece or Spain on yacht cruisers.
For those able to sail but want to adjust and improve certain techniques.
Spinnaker Course This course is held on our Soling or monotype Asso 99.The participants are required to have good technical experience. Sailing Courses start: Tuesday and Saturday on appointment, from 10.0 am. till 1.00 pm or 2.00 pm. till 5.00 pm. We advise you to wear adequate foot wear and a wind jacket. Rain jacket, life jacket, harness, workbook and safety boat are included in the price. In the case of only one participant attending a course the hours will be halved.
To rent one of our boats its necessary to know how to sail and the knowledge of navigation rules. When signing the contract you'll need to leave a deposit for the boat and an identification document in our office. You have third party insurance, but you are responsible for the boat and people transported.
We have a vast range of boats to choose from: The Laser or Hobie 405 for 1 or 2 people leaving the beach, the Soling, safe and fast for 3-4 people. Our Yachts Pierrot are safe and comfortable for the family, the Beneteau 31.7 is perfect for family and friends, up to 6 people for a weekend or 7 days. The Asso 99 needs a crew of 6 with 3 people in trapeze and a good Skipper! You never know!
