With the basic course you'll start learning the basic techniques and theory of Hobie Cat Sailing, which will be mastered in the following courses. Looking at the price list you'll notice that the following course after the first has a reduced price, in order facilitate you in proceeding your sailing. The number of students is limited and the instructor is always with you. 

Basic Course 
This course is held on Hobie Cat 15 or 18 Pacific. The subjects discussed include: nomenclature, various manoeuvre techniques, tack and jibe, meteorology and the knowledge of different kinds of catamarans.

Advanced Course
Held on Hobie Cat 15 or 18 Pacific, in this course the basic techniques are thoroughly practiced in order to obtain maximum confidence and autonomy even with strong wind and covers other main manoeuvres like man over board, mooring, capsizing and recovery and the study of the correct trim.Con il corso base si iniziano a conoscere le basi tecniche e teoriche della conduzione di una Hobie Cat, che vengono approfondite nei successivi corsi di perfezionamento.

Maxi advanced course
With this course speed has no limit! If you want to try sailing on one hull hanging from the trapeze this is for you. The course is held on Hobie cat 15 or on Hobie cat 18 Pacific. The programme consists in speed techniques, crew in the trapeze, handling from the trapeze and the use of the Gennaker. 

Other courses 
We are able to organize specific courses for groups, regattas or any special requests. The Cat sailing courses start every Monday and Saturday at 2.00 pm. till 5.00 pm, or on appointment.
 

At Wwwind Square you can rent a vast range of Hobie Cats:16 - 18 Formula and 18 Pacific.You need to have a good sailing experience and know the recovery manoeuvres in case of capsizing

To rent one of our Cats you must wear a life jacket (which we supply), a wet suit and appropriate foot wear.
You have third party insurance, but you are responsible for the boat and people transported.When signing the contract you'll need to leave an identification document in our office and a deposit of € 200 for the boat or € 300 if using the Gennaker.
